Gandaki Province Police Hospital
Introduction
This hospital was established in Magh, 2073 with the name ‘Western Regional Police Hospital’ inside the premises of then Western Regional Armed Police Battalion in order to render Free health care Services to in-service Policeman, their families, ex-serviceman and their spouses. The hospital commenced OPD services and 5 beded indoor Services with one Medical Doctor and few Paramedics. The name of Hospital was changed to Gandaki Province Police Hospital, Pokhara and envisaged to shift in its own land located in Mustang Chowk, Pokhara, with upgraded infrastructures. The newly bult Hospital was inaugurated on 4th shrawan, 2077 B.S. by DIGP Ghanshyam Aryal with all expenses to be covered by Nepal Government. Now, the Hospital has been providing General Health Services including some specialist services under command of Deputy Superintendent of Police with 1 Inspector, 3 Sub-Inspectors and 4 Constables.
Objectives

To provide promotive, preventive, curative and Rehabilitative Health Services.

Enhancing ‘Community-Police Partnership’ and provide applicable services to the community.

Conduct workshop, Symposium, Seminars and discussion programs for promotive health.

I. Specialist Service - Orthopedics and trauma Surgery (every day)
- Dermatology and venereology (2nd Tuesday of every month)
- Obstetrics and Gynecology (3rd Wednesday of every month)
- Physician service (Last Thursday of every month)
